Sue Anne (Creech) Hickman, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 23, 2018 at her home. She was born on September 7, 1954. She is survived by her mother, Betty McCarthy; son, Jeffrey (Kristi) McCann; daughter, Elizabeth Hickman; three grandchildren, Chesney, Chaley and Gavin McCann; a brother-in-law, Mike Hicks; and a large family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, James Creech; paternal and maternal grandparents; and sister, Katherine Hicks.
As a native of Indianapolis, Sue enjoyed sewing, reading, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. She was a collector of koalas and dolls.
Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. A funeral service will follow at noon, then burial at Washington Park East.

She was a wonderful mother and always treated me like I was one of her own when I saw her. She was like a second mother when I was in Junior High. Sue loved you Jeff and Beth and I know she will be watching over you. My prayers are with you both! She was an angel here on earth, she’s now an angel by God’s side.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss. It’s never easy to lose a loved one under any circumstance. Please be assured that Jehovah God is aware of your pain and he is near to the brokenhearted.(Psalm 34:18) For the bible promises us that there will be a resurrection (John 5:28, 29) and God will bring an end to Death once and for all (Revelation 21:4). From that point on we will never have to feel the pangs of death again. I pray these words and scriptures are able to bring you some comfort.
